French doors in this Kips Bay Showhouse by Sawyer - Berson employed this European lever from the 1930's , its ergonometric form and elongated backplates coordinate with a unique design recessed pull with raised perimeter detail. Burnished, aged brass finishes complement the rich interior palette. This handle illustrates H. Theophile's unique service which allows designers to select from an in-house archive of historical handles and fittings for engineering and adaptation for new production. Interwar designs from Europe are a focus of the collection.
